Recreate a Lost Legend – Inspired by the Infamous Gemballa M635CSi

In the wild world of '80s car culture, few builds match the mystery and boldness of the Gemballa-modified BMW 635CSi. Created in 1985 for a buyer from the United Arab Emirates, this one-of-a-kind machine featured widebody styling, bright yellow paint, four Recaro seats, a built-in TV, and a quad exhaust that could spit flames. It was a full display of Uwe Gemballa’s wild vision—costing the modern equivalent of $160,000.

Then it disappeared.

In 2003, the car resurfaced in Iraq—found by U.S. soldiers in one of Uday Hussein’s palaces. Its condition had suffered, and after that brief sighting... it vanished again. No one knows where it is today. No photos. No trace. Just a story.

This transkit is inspired by that forgotten icon. It lets you bring the spirit of the Gemballa 635CSi back to life in 1:24 scale—a tribute to one of the boldest tuner cars of its time.
